Time to Refine
Once your Alerts are set up and collecting data, it's time to refine and really make them shine. You can edit Alerts at any time after set up.
Where do you find it in BuzzSumo?
Monitoring > Find the Alert you want to Edit > Options > Edit Alert
Too many mentions? Increase your maximum engagement threshold and only get notified about the articles that matter.
Personalize based on your goals. If you're monitoring your brand, then including Title, Topic & Article Text in your search scope might make sense. But if you're just looking to monitor a broad keyword, to keep an eye on your industry, then limiting the scope to Topic Only will give you more targeted results.
Only care about specific publications? If you're hoping to get mentioned somewhere special, you can limit to only include certain domains in your Alert.
